What we hold, and why.
You gave us an email address so we could arrange your beta setup. That is genuinely all this is for. Here is exactly what we have, where it sits, and how to make us delete it.

What this page covers
is made by &duo, a small company in Denmark. &duo holds your data and is the one you can hold responsible for it — full details at the bottom of this page.
What follows covers this website and the beta signup form on it — nothing else. It does not describe what the app itself keeps once a family is set up and using it. That is a separate document, and it is not this one.
What we collect
The signup form writes one record. It holds five things and nothing else:
- Your emailExactly what you typed, trimmed and lower-cased.
- Partner answerWhether you picked “Yes, both of us” or “Just me”. If you left it blank, it is stored empty.
- Where it came fromA fixed label — “landing” — so we know the signup came from this page.
- StatusA fixed label — “new” — which is how we track who we still owe a reply.
- TimeWhen you submitted the form.
There is no name field, and we do not record your IP address, your browser, your device, or anything you did on the page before submitting. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no tracking pixels or advertising tags on it.
Where it is stored
In Google Cloud Firestore, in Google's europe-west1 region — that is Belgium, inside the EU.
The record can only be written, never read back, changed or deleted from this website. Reading it is something only we can do, signed in to the Firebase console.
What we use it for
Getting in touch to arrange your beta setup. That is the whole list.
We do not sell it, rent it, share it for advertising, or hand it to anyone outside the companies named below. It does not go onto a marketing list, and signing up here does not sign you up to anything else.
How long we keep it, and how to have it deleted
We keep your signup until your family is set up on the beta, or twelve months from the day you signed up — whichever comes first. Then we delete it.
So if we get you onboarded next month, the signup record goes then. If we never manage to find you a place, it goes twelve months later without you having to chase us.
Ask us and it goes
Email hello@andduo.dk and say you want your signup deleted. You do not have to give a reason, and you do not have to have joined the beta.
Write from the address you signed up with if you can — that is how we find the record. We will delete it and confirm back to you.
You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to correct it, at the same address.
Who else is involved
Three companies handle this data on our behalf, plus one that the page loads fonts from:
- GoogleFirebase / Cloud Firestore stores the signup record, in the EU region named above.
- ResendDelivers the email we reply to you with, so your address passes through them on the way to you.
- VercelHosts this website. Like any web host, their servers see the request that loads the page.
- Google FontsThe typefaces on this page load from Google's servers, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them. The Firebase code the form uses loads from Google in the same way.
Who is responsible
is the product. &duo is the company that makes it — a small Danish company, and the one answerable for your data. When this page says “we”, it means &duo. That is also why our email address sits on andduo.dk rather than on the product's own name.
The data controller is:
&duo
Kildevej 31B, 2960 Rungsted Kyst, Denmark
CVR 44939789
hello@andduo.dk
If we get something wrong and you cannot get it sorted with us, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet — datatilsynet.dk.
If becomes its own company
That is the plan after the beta. If it happens, your signup moves across to the new company along with everything else, and this page's promises move with it — same purpose, same retention, same right to have it deleted at any point.
Nothing else changes for you, and nothing is sold on to a third party in the process. It would still be us, filed differently.
If this page changes
We will update the date at the top. If we ever change what we collect or what we use it for, we will tell the people already on the list rather than quietly editing this page.
